Our Team

          Victoria Kerkela

Being raised by an artist in one of the most beautiful coastal cities, Victoria has always been drawn toward beauty. At the age of 15, Victoria began her love affair with jewelry art. She found herself immersed in the art scene during her high school years, eventually enrolling in the Visual and Performing Arts program at Indian River Charter High School where she studied and volunteered at the Vero Beach Museum of Art. After Graduation, Victoria became an apprentice jeweler under John Michael Mathews, and she learned by example how to expertly repair and create exquisite Jewelry.

Her artistry and attention to detail set her apart in the community, where she has developed a reputation as one of the Treasure Coast’s premier master jewelers. Now, Victoria has set out to bring a new level of artistry and hospitality to the Vero Beach art scene. Her passion to make jewelry that is unique and personalized is at the forefront of our approach to enhancing your jewelry experience, as is her drive to build a stronger, more sustainable community.

                    Ashley Hays

Growing up in Vero Beach, Ashley can tell you firsthand all about the beauty & charm that our lovely seaside city has to offer. When she isn’t fishing, diving or boating with her family or friends, you might find her perfecting her softball swing, practicing the violin, or pet sitting for local friends. Her love for jewelry & gemstones along with her positive energy & infectious laugh make her an invaluable member our jewelry “family”.

                   Corey Kerkela

Victoria’s Husband and business partner was raised in Indian River County, where he developed a love for the Ocean and Wildlife. After 7 years in the U.S. Coast Guard, Corey married Victoria, moved back to Vero Beach and returned to college where he received degrees from Indian River State College and the University of Central Florida in Business and Archaeology respectively.

Through the study of archaeology, he developed an appreciation for cultures and travel, as well as the credentials needed to become the director at the McLarty Treasure Museum. Corey’s efforts for Victoria Ashley Fine Jewelry are usually behind-the-scenes where he concentrates on marketing and writes blogs about jewelry cultures and the destinations where these cultures are showcased. As he travels the World with his son, Brendon, filming for their YouTube Channel, The Gallivanthropologists, Corey is documenting and will be purchasing some of the rarest gems and exotic pieces of jewelry on earth to bring home to the store where we can sell and teach you about them.

Corey also plants trees at every destination he travels to and is directing a program aimed at promoting carbon-neutrality through the Oceanside Rotary Club of Vero Beach. A portion of every sale goes towards these efforts to plant trees on the Treasure Coast and around the World.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Our staff would love to meet you in person, have a cup of tea with you, and demonstrate why Victoria Ashley Fine Jewelry is unique and special. Make sure to sign up for our emails to make sure you're the first to know about new blogs, new products, and special events at the store.
